Product Description
Large-tonnage tablet presses are mainly used for tablet compression in the chemical, ceramic, and metallurgical industries. The tablet press is an automatic continuous production equipment that presses 10-80 mesh granules into round, special-shaped tablets with a diameter not greater than 100mm, or tablets with text, symbols, and graphics.
Application Scope
This machine is a rotary continuous production tablet press. It is primarily used for pressing large-diameter disinfectant tablets, such as sodium dichloroisocyanurate, triisocyanuric acid, and other chemical tablets. It can also be used to press granular or powdery materials in other chemical, electronic, pharmaceutical, food, and ceramic industries. By replacing the mold, it can also press ring-shaped, spherical, and various special-shaped tablets. However, it is not suitable for pressing moist or viscous materials.
Product Features
1. The mechanical transmission part of the machine is completely isolated from the tablet pressing studio to prevent the material from being contaminated during tablet pressing;
2. The tablet pressing room is a fully enclosed structure with organic glass. During operation, the whole process of tablet pressing can be clearly seen while preventing dust from flying and polluting the surrounding environment.
3. The working surface of the turntable is inlaid with titanium alloy plates, and the blanking tube, upper and lower punches, and middle mold are all made of titanium alloy;
4. This machine is equipped with a pre- pressing wheel device to improve the tableting quality and has an automatic lubrication system;
5. This machine adopts a four-column structure, which has good stability and smooth operation during operation;
6. The motor of this machine is controlled by a frequency converter, and the speed can be infinitely adjusted within the allowable range according to the actual production requirements;
7. This machine is equipped with an automatic powder spraying device for release agent, which is suitable for pressing materials that are difficult to release from the mold and have stickiness.
Working Principle
The punch and die are subjected to great pressure during the tableting process and are usually made of bearing steel (such as CRL5, etc.) and heat treated to increase their hardness.
There are many types of punches, and the shape of the punch is determined by the desired shape of the tablet. The die structure can be divided into round and irregular shapes (including polygonal and curved shapes); the cross-section of the punch can be flat, beveled, shallowly concave, deeply concave, and mixed shapes. Flat and beveled punches are used to press flat cylindrical tablets, shallowly concave punches are used to press biconvex tablets, deeply concave punches are mainly used to press the core of coated tablets, and mixed shapes are mainly used to press irregular tablets. To facilitate identification and administration of medications, markings such as the drug name, dosage, and vertical and horizontal lines can also be engraved on the end face of the die. To press tablets of different dosages, a punch of appropriate size should be selected.
